Enhancement of Community Land Model (CLM) hydrologic prediction
Main Responsibilities: (1) Evaluation of CLM across globe with a focus on identifying the weaknesses of CLM hydrologic predictions; (2) Implementation of VIC soil hydrologic and biogeophysical processes into CLM; (3) Implementation of VIC snow model and snow band into CLM; and (4) model evaluatoin and performance testing for upgraded CLM in both off-line and coupled mode.
