This website presents some calibration results of Mexico basin. It's always a challege to calibrate Mexico because of the lack of the high-quality and continuous precipitation and streamflow data. The streamflow dataset we are using is the Mexico acronym BANDAS, which is a product of CNA and IMTA. Based on the fact that nearly all of the larger basins are regulated, we selected comparatively small basins (less than 10000 km^2) with long-term record especially during the period 1970s-1990s (which has higher precipitation guage stations density) to calibrate. The calibration is done with VIC.4.0.3 3hourly energy balance mode. The whole basin is divided into 19 basins. The calibrated streamflow station distribution is shown below.
