U.S. Streamflow Data

The following four files contain period of record USGS streamflow station data, through Water Year 1997, for nearly all stations in the U.S.

The file format is:
[station id] [year] [DATA]
where DATA is a pipe-delimited row of average flow values for every day in the year, followed by a bunch of summary statistics. missing values are apparent from sequential pipes. Units=cfs

Note, it appears the datasets also contain instantaneous MIN and MAX daily flow values for some of the stations, hence some stations have duplicate record years, each corresponding to different parameter values. Unfortunately, in these datafiles, the only way to discriminate them is by their relative values (when all three are present).

WEST2 (65 Mb): AK, HI, ID, KN, MT, NB, ND, OK, OR, Pac. Isl., SD, TX, WA
