Western U.S. Daily-Updating Spatial Analyses

These land surface simulations employ the same methods and underlying station data as the coarser scale, 1/2 degree UW Surface Water Monitor, but are implemented at 1/8 degree resolution, using the West-wide forecast system VIC model parameters. The lag time for these plots is currently about 1 day.
Note: the developmental Mexico simulations appear to be yielding implausible results. They are not being checked for data errors at this time, and should be viewed only as an intermediate research result.
