Alan has used VIC extensively in his research and for producing PNW reservoir forecast ensembles for the Climate Impacts Group. He has been involved in the development/improvement of several features of the VIC model.
VIC Users Listserve
Much of the development of VIC has been contributed or inspired by the various users who participate in this list serve (among them are Andy Wood, Keith Cherkauer, Laura Bowling, and Jenny Adam, to name but a few). Often sending a question to the list serve is an effective way to learn about VIC.
