Running the NWS Snow Accumulation and Ablation Model
The NWS Snow Accumulation and Ablation Model uses gridded
precipitation and temperature data to determine the dynamics of the snow pack. This
model does not provide information about snow temperatures or densities, only the amount
of snow melt per time step is used by the VIC-2L.
Example data files were taken from VIC runs on the Columbia River:
Example snow model execution script,
also taken from Columbia River runs.
