Channel state file

Required:

Required when a channel network is specified.

Name:

The name is expected to be of the format Channel.State.<MM.DD.YYYY.hh.mm.ss>, where <MM.DD.YYYY.hh.mm.ss> is the time for which the model state is valid.
The file is located in the Initial state directory.

ReadChannelState()

Format:

ASCII

Purpose:

Contains the amount of water in each channel segment. This allows a model restart with exactly the same initial conditions.

Details:

The channel state file lists each channel segment ID (the same as in the Stream network file) and the amount of water in that segment. There should be as many lines as there are segment IDs.
